Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born on November 18, 1985, in Los Angeles. Felix's father Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley and their mother Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix displayed an early talent for sports when she was studying at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting talent at that at the time. Felix finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in only 10 weeks, after the first time she tried out. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003 signed an agreement with Adidas. After that, she enrolled at an institution called the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix took home her first Olympic Medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens Greece. Felix set an unofficial Junior World Record taking 200m in 22.18 seconds. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix was the youngest world champion in the 200-meter race. She was able to defend the title once again in 2007, by beating her Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix has consistently placed at the top of the podium across her diverse events during the Olympics held in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
